Manufacturing Month Activity:
Before the event: Encourage students to set up their accounts in advance.

During the session:

5–10 minutes: Introduce the manufacturing industry, career pathways, job opportunities, and earning potential.
15–30 minutes: Have students set up their accounts, choose an avatar, and play through a few levels (3–5 minutes each).
5 minutes: Facilitate a short group discussion about what they learned.

Ask students questions:
What do you use every day that has been manufactured? (Examples: phones, computers, sneakers)
Can you start preparing for your career in high school? How? (Talk about CTE programs, certifications, and youth apprenticeships)
Do you need a 4-year degree to build a career in manufacturing? (Highlight 2-year programs, certifications, and apprenticeships)
What is manufactured in Florida? (Examples: aerospace components, electronics, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, semiconductors, food & beverages, boats)
